Just a little tip – you can create Lorem Ipsum text in Word 2007 or later. Just type:
=lorem(5,6)
…and press return. The numbers refer to the number of paragraphs and the number of sentences per paragraph respectively.

Not feeling it. Word 2007. Do I need to change something in Word options?
Don’t think so. It’s been a while since I used 2007 – but I remember this tip working with it too. Unless it was added in a service pack or similar. You did lead with an = and press return at the end? And no space between the = and ‘lorem()’?

If you are trying to use this and not getting it to work, you may have the same problem I did. I had disabled “Replace Text as you type” in the autocorrect options. If you re-enable this, then =lorem() will work.
